THE LIST

As stated in my earlier post, I have a list of 102 herculean tasks to accomplish before I die. Some are comical, some are serious, some are agreeably difficult. With others you may chuckle that I would struggle with something so small and insignificant. They may not seem hard or challenging to you, but--well--THE LIST isn't about you, is it?

Task #10: get a short boyish haircut and see if it looks good and I still look somewhat like a female.
CHECK! 11/24/2009
There is a certain freedom to having short hair that looks good without any assistance.

Task # 57: Throw a successful party of at least 30.
I'm in the process of this one. The Aida cast party... because no one would start anything, I did. So far I've realized that I shrug away from leadership because I feel being a leader means making magic by yourself. Imagine my surprise when I looked to my right and saw another LIVING person--who could help!

Task # 67: Keep my room clean for three straight weeks.
This is how I want to start the New Year. Clean, free, and open. Maybe it will transfer over to other messy aspects of my life...

Task # 41: Be completely silent for one day.
My sister wants to do this with me, which could be... interesting. I just need to find a convenient time to do it. Is that cheating? I guess it ruins the reality a bit...Oooooh! I guess I'll stick with our original plan and do it tomorrow even though I have errands to run :)~

In the beginning...

... there was nothing. No thought or mental stability to conceive a decent topic to write about. This will probably be the case for most of my posts.

Hence the overall title of "Randomidity".

Moments ago, I was quite excited. I recently saw Julie and Julia; a wonderfully beautiful movie about women accomplishing their dreams and taking risks. Julie shares her journey of cooking her way through life on a blog. I was surprised at how much I loved it. The movie inspired me to...do something. Unfortunately, I have no talent for cooking.

So, on this blog, I may share my life goals with you. I have a list of about 110 goals I'd like to accomplish before I die. Random things like: get in a food fight, teach Dad Spanish, write lullabies for my children, get hooked on a Spanish soap opera with someone, see a lemur...stuff like that. I may even write a bit and fuel my hope of becoming a literary genius. Who knows, I may just make this my stash of fantasy and spill all my dreams onto the web for everyone to laugh at.

I may grow to appear increasingly insane, for I give little regard to things I should be embarrassed about. And for that I apologize.

And yes, I will start my sentences with "and".
And with this senseless post, the randomidity begins.
